About Smash House Gourmet

Delicious, gluten-free friendly classicsβ€”burgers, tacos, flatbreads, hot dogs, and more!

Smash House Gourmet is a restaurant in Flint, Michigan. It is listed at 5516 Fenton Rd Ste B, Flint, MI 48507, which places it among the local businesses of Flint that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

This group covers the bars, diners, family restaurants, fast-food spots and other kitchens that serve pizza alongside a broader menu. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Sports bars fill up on game nights and often run pizza-and-pitcher specials; diners and fast-food chains keep long hours, sometimes around the clock. Sales tax is added at the register on top of menu prices.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 12–8 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (810) 869-0139. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is smashhousegourmet.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 60 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

The double smash house burger is amazing. Literally amazing. I ordered it recently can't wait to order it again. This is one of my favorite burgers I've ever had. So so soo good. Yummy thank you so much!!!

I was under the impression that this was an entirely gluten free restaurant. As someone with celiacs disease I was super excited to get some nice gluten free food while driving through Michigan. Ordered extra to take home. I got the pepper jack Mac n cheese and the poutine, also shared a pretzel for 2 with a friend. The food was amazing and it's my fault for not clarifying that everything was gluten free but it destroyed me. I'm still bed ridden almost a day later and I got the un eaten $20 poutine in my fridge that I'm scared to eat. Everything was Delicious though lmao

So I never write reviews but I truly could not help myself on this. Please save your money, buy meals for the week from the store, literally ANYTHING but try to feed yourself or let alone 3 people here. 80+ dollars for a chicken sandwich, a Cesar wrap, and a lobster sandwich (clearly the pricey item). The food tastes like any other over-hyped Grand Blanc pop up shop, but the fact that β€˜Gourmet’ is on the door is what baffles me. There is not a single thing gourmet about the food I just purchased. My cesar wrap has some of the most dry, tasteless and hard chicken in it that I seriously thought it was plastic. The chips taste like they’re Lay’s Wavy and just thrown into a deep fryer with salt and the truffle fries taste like there was just cheese and parsley thrown on top, with a whole bottle of truffle oil dumped on them. I was super excited to try this place! But I will not be paying almost 100 dollars to feed three people and this is just from the take out section of β€˜Social House’, could you imagine dining in, getting drinks? The place would have great potential if it wasn’t marketed as β€˜gourmet’.

Spent over $55 on food here because I have to eat gluten free and the hotdogs were made very poorly. The tacos were breaking as well, but the chicken At least we tasted good. I have bought the hotdogs before (Chicago style) and it was way better than this. It’s missing the pickles, tomatoes and some onions. Most of the ingredients to be honest. I may give them another shot because past experience was better than this. That’s why they get two stars, plus I’ve been trying to call them to sell with them but no answer.

It’s sad to see a quality location like this in such a small storefront. They have consistently provided excellent service and food. The employees are friendly, and the flavors are perfect. Everything on the menu is a 10/10.
